Erin Augustine has a diverse work experience, starting as an Environmental Engineer at Fishbeck Thompson Carr & Huber from 2007 to 2011. Erin then worked at Kellogg Company as an Environmental Manager, Senior Sustainability Manager, and Sustainability Manager from 2011 to 2018. During this time, they managed sustainability programs, set goals and strategies for reducing energy use and waste, and ensured compliance with environmental regulations.

In 2018, Erin joined Wolverine Worldwide as the Director of Responsible Sourcing, where they developed and implemented sustainability strategies and product sustainability programs for various brands. Erin also integrated the industry-leading sustainability measurement tool, the Higg Index, into business processes and grew revenue from sustainable products. Erin left Wolverine Worldwide in 2021.

Afterwards, Erin founded Carbon Free Family in 2018, an online platform and community for sharing sustainability tips and information. Erin gained recognition for their work and was featured on news programs, such as WZZM13 and Good Morning America.

In 2021, Erin joined Oatly as the Director of Supply Chain Sustainability and later became the Senior Director of Operations and Supply Chain Sustainability. Their responsibilities at Oatly include integrating sustainability into business decisions, developing sustainability competencies, and driving the company's sustainability ambitions.
