Richard Robinson

Richard Robinson currently serves as the Chief Strategist for Open Data and Standards at Bloomberg LP since March 2015, focusing on the FIGI standard and data. Additionally, Richard holds several volunteer positions, including Chair of the Board of Directors for ISITC, Co-Vice Convenor of the ISO 20022 Registration Management Group, and Member of the Board of Directors for OMG. Richard has previously held significant roles at Wipro Technologies and EMC, providing strategic direction and consulting services across capital markets. Richard's experience also includes leadership positions at Barclays Capital and Omgeo, where strategic initiatives generated substantial revenue growth. Richard earned an MBA in Information Technology and Organizational Behavior from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
