Obsidian Therapeutics
Alonso Villasmil Ocando is an experienced scientific professional with a strong background in research and biotechnology. Currently serving as an Associate Scientist and previously as a Senior Research Associate at Obsidian Therapeutics since October 2020, Alonso has also held positions at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard as a Research Technician II and I from June 2018 to September 2020. Additionally, Alonso participated as an HHMI EXROP Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School in June 2017 and worked as a Research Assistant at the Whitehead Institute in June 2016. Alonso earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Public Health from Williams College.
