Jian Jiang

Jian Jiang is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and research. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering in the US at Obsidian Security since August 2022, Jian previously held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at F5 from January 2020 to August 2022. Prior roles at Shape Security included VP of Technology and various engineering positions, demonstrating a strong technical background as a Distinguished Engineer and Senior Research Scientist. Jian's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Network Security from Tsinghua University and multiple degrees in Computer Science from Xi'an Jiaotong University, where foundational knowledge in the field was established.
