Michael J Tobin

Michael J Tobin is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in manufacturing and operations management. Currently serving as President and General Manager at Oerlikon Metco and Oerlikon Additive Manufacturers since June 2014, Michael also holds multiple presidential roles within Oerlikon US Holdings Inc. and Oerlikon Metco US Inc. Prior to this, Michael was Vice President of Equipment Manufacturing at Sulzer Metco, overseeing operations in the USA and Switzerland, and held various positions at Sulzer Metco and other companies, including a role as Director of Business Operations with significant responsibilities in pricing management, sales, and inventory planning. Michael’s career began in the military as a Captain in the US Army, where service included leadership roles in the Gulf War, receiving a Bronze Star. Michael holds a BS in Business and Finance from Mount St. Mary's University.
