Waverly Deutsch is an accomplished advisor and educator with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and venture capital. As an advisor at WyseHeart Advisory and AMOpportunities, Waverly continues to coach entrepreneurs and venture capital firms while having retired from a 22-year teaching career at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where positions included Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship and Adjunct Professor. Waverly has served as Operating Partner at OCA Ventures since 2015, contributing to equity investments in early-stage companies, and has been involved with Smartbet Charities as a board member, promoting youth entrepreneurship. Waverly's leadership roles have included Chairman of the Board and Interim CEO at Noon Solar, Managing Director at NetFuel Ventures, and various positions at Forrester Research, which played a pivotal role in the firm's growth. Waverly holds a Ph.D. in Theatre History from Tufts University and a BS/BA in Computer Science/Theatre from the University of Pittsburgh.
