Joseph Lewis is a Managing Director, Co-Head of Corporate Hedging and FX Solutions at Jefferies, a leading investment banking and capital markets firm. In this role, he oversees a global team that works with companies and private equity funds to develop and implement interest rate and FX derivative hedging strategies. Additionally, he is responsible for managing the trading and counterparty credit risk management associated with their clients’ hedging strategies. Prior to joining Jefferies, Joseph held senior client coverage roles at Citibank, Barclays, and Lehman Brothers focused on interest rate, commodity, and FX derivatives.
Outside of work, Joseph is active in nonprofit work with a strong focus on education and equal opportunity. He is currently a board member of Teaching Matters, Bronx Excellence Charter Schools, and New Federal Theater.
Mr. Lewis holds a master’s degree in economics from New York University. He graduated with high distinction from Duke University where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics and public policy.
Mr. Lewis is a Member Director of OCC's Board of Directors and serves on the Audit Committee.
