Bill Geer

Bill Geer has extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as Director of Corporate Engineering at Oxy since October 2013, where previous roles included Manager of Process Engineering and Principal Process Engineer. Prior to Oxy, Bill worked at Syngenta as a Production Supervisor in the Formulations Unit and Senior Process Engineer from April 2009 to September 2013. Bill's career began at Dow Chemical, where roles spanned from Production Engineer in chlorine production and light hydrocarbons to Production Coordinator/Operations Leader from June 2002 to April 2009. Early experiences include an internship at Union Carbide in 2001, and positions in logistics and training at Walmart from August 1997 to July 1999. Bill served in the US Army from June 1991 to June 1999 as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle and MLRS crewmember. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University and an Associate of Science in Pre-Engineering from Southwest Mississippi Community College.
