Jim Barker P. Eng. is an experienced supply chain professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Supply Chain at Oxy since May 2005. Previously, Jim held the position of VP of Western Hemisphere Supply Chain at Oxy from 2014 to 2015, overseeing a $5 billion procurement portfolio and managing a team of over 110 staff. Prior to Oxy, Jim worked at BP as a Contracts Specialist and Project Manager in Power Origination from October 2000 to April 2005, and at Shell Canada Resources Limited from August 1987 to October 2000 in various roles including Energy Advisor and Reservoir Engineer. Jim holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University (1982-1987) and a high school diploma from Lakefield College School (1976-1982).
