Jonas Skattum Svegaarden

Jonas Skattum Svegaarden is a seasoned leader in impact investing and ocean sustainability, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and General Partner of Katapult Ocean since April 2020, where the focus is on early-stage ocean impact investments. In addition to leading Katapult as Chief Investment Officer and Partner, Jonas is actively involved with various organizations, including serving as a board member for NorNAB, Ocean Rainforest, and Einer, and as a steering committee member for the 1000 Ocean Startups Coalition. Jonas is also an official nominator for The Earthshot Prize, a founding member of The Conduit in Oslo, and an ambassador for The Animal Fund, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental issues. As a volunteer Climate Reality Leader, Jonas works to raise awareness about the climate crisis, showcasing a dedication to fostering sustainable solutions for both the ocean and the broader environment. Education includes a Master’s degree in Business and Economics with a specialization in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School.
