Chris Austin has over 20 years of work experience in the software and technology industry. Chris is currently working as a Principal Architect at Ocean Technologies Group since September 2023. Prior to this, Chris held various roles at Ideagen from 2012 to 2023, including Senior R&D Architect, Principal Development Engineer, Development Manager, and Senior Application Developer. During their time at Ideagen, Chris was responsible for managing development teams, project planning, QA management, and implementing issue tracking systems. Before joining Ideagen, Chris was the Owner and CTO of Capgen, where they developed document-centric products such as Capsure, Find & View, and eBible Creator. Chris started their career as an Associate Developer at Zefer, a web development company, where they gained experience in HTML, XML, CSS, ASP, and Javascript.

Chris Austin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from UCL in the period from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, they hold several certifications from Microsoft, including Exam 486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications, MCSA: Web Applications - Certified 2019, and Exam 483: Programming in C#, all obtained in 2019.
