Cora Pierce

Cora Pierce is an experienced engineer currently serving as the Orion Subsystem Manager for Life Support and Systems Projects at Oceaneering, supporting NASA at the Johnson Space Center since January 2025. Prior to this role, Cora worked at Sierra Space as a Crew Systems Engineer, where design and development of critical crew subsystems for space habitats took place. Cora also held positions as a Structural Analysis Engineer and Research Engineer at CONMED Corporation, focusing on product testing and algorithm development. Additional experience includes roles in research and mechanical engineering, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained from Colorado School of Mines in 2022.
