Austin Rief

Austin Rief is a seasoned business professional with a diverse background in leadership and finance. Currently serving as Co-Owner at Oceans since May 2023, Austin is involved in matching operational talent from Sri Lanka with startups worldwide. As Chief Executive Officer and former Chief Operating Officer of Morning Brew, a new media company since January 2015, Austin plays a pivotal role in educating over a million readers on business news. Previous experience includes an internship as an Incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Moelis & Company and an International Education Internship at StarTau Tel Aviv University Entrepreneurship Center. Austin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, completed in 2017.
