Katie Scarpa

Katie Scarpa is a seasoned professional with diverse experience across various roles in operations, arts, and administration. Currently serving as Co-Founder and VP of Ops at Oceans since January 2022, Katie focuses on matching operational talent from Sri Lanka and South Africa with global startups. Prior experience includes roles as Office Manager and Executive Assistant at BBG Ventures, as well as a Vinyl Record DJ at Tokyo Record Bar. Katie's background also encompasses cinematography, directing, editing, and set photography for various projects, alongside executive assistance for Matt Wallaert, fine dining service at Liberty National Golf Club, and roles in personal assistance and teaching assistance. Katie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Drama from New York University and completed the International Baccalaureate (I.B.) Program at Saint Dominic Academy.
