Christa K. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Christa started their career as an Undergraduate Biological Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh in 2008. Christa then worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Giant Eagle Pharmacy from 2010 to 2013. Christa later joined Kmart Corporation, where they served as a Staff Pharmacist and later as a Pharmacist in Charge from 2013 to 2016. Christa continued their career as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare from 2016 to 2019. Christa then joined VCU Health as an Inpatient Staff Pharmacist from 2019 to 2020. Christa also served as an Epic EHR Principal Trainer-Pharmacist at VCU Health from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, they worked as a Pharmacy Independent Contractor at Alliance HealthCare Services, Wegmans Pharmacy. Christa then joined Blue Sky Innovative Solutions as an EHRM Training Specialist, delivering live training for Cerner EHR Systems to healthcare providers within the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center health system from April 2022 to November 2022. Currently, they are working as a Clinical Specialist Epic Principal Trainer at OCHIN, Inc.

Christa K. attended Duquesne University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree in the field of Pharmacy. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, they attended the University of Pittsburgh and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. In addition to their formal education, Christa has obtained several certifications, including being a registered pharmacist with the Virginia and Pennsylvania State Boards of Pharmacy. Christa has also received certifications in various pharmacy-related areas such as Cerner Millennium Ambulatory and PharmNet, Epic Training Environment Build, Willow Inpatient Curriculum, CPR/AED and First Aid, Pharmacist and Patient-Centered Diabetes Care, and Pharmacy-based Immunization Delivery.
