As Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer, Paul Matthews is responsible for the technical delivery and hosting architecture for OCHIN’s Epic and Data Analytics business lines. With a broad range of experience at start-ups, non-profits, and large international organizations, he has a consistent record of delivering extraordinary results in platform design, performance, interoperability, designing and implementing large-scale information systems. Externally, he is focused on the implementation of Health Information Exchanges (HIE) within communities, Paul has focused on Health IT and secure information exchange and currently serves in the following ways: The Sequoia Project (Board of Directors), eHealth Exchange (Coordinating Committee), Northwest Access Exchange (Board of Directors), Central Oregon Health Information Exchange (ex-officio board member). Paul has previously served on Epic Corporation’s Care Everywhere Governing Council and is a national speaker on health exchange.
