Abhishek Arora has a diverse work experience in the field of data science, analytics, and software engineering. Abhishek held the position of Director, Enterprise Data & Analytics at OCS Ontario Cannabis Store, where they led the data-driven decision-making and innovation initiatives. Prior to that, they worked at Workday as part of the Engineering Leadership team, focusing on machine learning and data science. Abhishek also worked at EY, where they managed a team and implemented data engineering, AI, and machine learning solutions for various clients. Abhishek served as a Manager and Senior Data Scientist at EY, taking on responsibilities such as designing analytics roadmaps, leading strategic projects, and developing advanced analytics platforms. Before EY, Abhishek worked at RBC as a Data Scientist, where they developed models for targeted marketing and led the model development lifecycle. Abhishek started their career at Accenture as a Software Engineering Analyst and Associate Software Engineer, where they worked on CRM solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
Abhishek Arora completed their Master's degree in Computing Science, with a focus on Machine Learning and Big Data, at Simon Fraser University from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University). Additionally, Abhishek has acquired several certifications in various fields, including Certified ScrumMaster®, Ataccama ONE Master & Reference Data Management, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 2.4, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, EY Artificial intelligence - Bronze, and various Coursera certificates. Abhishek also holds a Force.com Developer certification from salesforce.com.

The Ontario Cannabis Store is a Crown agency solely owned by the Province of Ontario and reporting to the Ministry of Finance. The OCS provides safe, responsible access to legal recreational cannabis for adults 19 and older. We are Ontario’s sole wholesaler to more than 1,500 Authorized Cannabis Stores. The OCS also operates OCS.ca, the Province’s online cannabis retailer which delivers to consumers in every corner of Ontario. We make sure our customers only receive legal, clearly labelled cannabis products by working closely with a diverse group of Licensed Producers authorized by Health Canada. Our online store prioritizes education and provides many opportunities for both new and experienced consumers to learn more about cannabis and responsible use. Our customer-care centre is staffed by knowledgeable, helpful product specialists who provide the information our customers need to make the right choices.
