Adam Jakop has a diverse work experience. Adam has worked at OCS Ontario Cannabis Store since 2019, starting as a Business Relationship Manager for Merchandising and later transitioning to roles such as Senior Manager of Product Management, Acting Director of Project Management & QA, and currently as the Director of Cybersecurity & GRC. In their current role, they oversee a team of eight staff and manages all aspects of cybersecurity, governance, risk management, and compliance. Prior to their work at OCS, Adam held various positions at Sears Canada, including Director of Content Operations & QC, Director of Merchandising Coordinators & Executive Office, and Manager of the Executive Office. Adam'sexperience at Sears involved leading teams and implementing processes to drive customer satisfaction and improve operational efficiency. Earlier in their career, Adam worked at Market Probe Canada, where they progressed to a managerial role and oversaw a team of supervisors in a high-volume outbound call center.

Adam Jakop obtained the Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional (LBBP) certification from the Management and Strategy Institute in 2018. Adam also attended Runnymede Collegiate Institute, but no degree or field of study is specified for that period.

OCS Ontario Cannabis Store

The Ontario Cannabis Store is a Crown agency solely owned by the Province of Ontario and reporting to the Ministry of Finance. The OCS provides safe, responsible access to legal recreational cannabis for adults 19 and older. We are Ontario’s sole wholesaler to more than 1,500 Authorized Cannabis Stores. The OCS also operates OCS.ca, the Province’s online cannabis retailer which delivers to consumers in every corner of Ontario. We make sure our customers only receive legal, clearly labelled cannabis products by working closely with a diverse group of Licensed Producers authorized by Health Canada.
