Derek Aframe

Derek Aframe is an accomplished marketing executive with extensive experience in corporate sports marketing and event management. Since June 2003, Derek has served as Executive Vice President and Head of Integrated Marketing at Octagon, leading a team that manages nearly 40 retainer-based clients and oversees the development and management of global marketing campaigns. Prior to this role, Derek was Vice President of the New England Revolution from 1997 to 2001, where responsibilities included overseeing team operations and integrating marketing for major soccer events. Derek began a career in media as the Rhode Island State Manager for The Associated Press/Voter News Service, where a significant contribution was the establishment of the state's first independent election coverage network. Derek holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in American History and English and American Literature from Brown University.
