Sam Kaufmann

Sam Kaufmann is an experienced professional currently serving as a Village Board Trustee for the Village of Waunakee since April 2021, contributing to local governance in a community of over 16,000 residents. In addition, Sam has held positions as a Quality Department Intern at Octopi since November 2019 and as a Campaign Manager for Randy Udell’s Assembly campaign, coordinating strategies for a diverse district. As a business owner of Sam's Property Maintenance ETC since May 2018, Sam provides property maintenance services to various customers. Academically, Sam is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the La Follette School of Public Affairs at UW-Madison, following a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Participation in the UniverCity Alliance Scholars Program allowed Sam to focus on historic preservation, enhancing community development efforts. Previous experience includes serving as a summer school teaching assistant in the Waunakee Community School District.
