Matt Williamson

Matt Williamson has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as a Sales Assistant at Halfords. Matt then worked at UHSM - University Hospital of South Manchester NHS FT as a Performance and Information Department Assistant. Matt joined Apple in 2012, where they took on the roles of Specialist and Business Support. Matt moved on to Informa in 2013, working as a Delegate Sales Executive and later as a Business Development Manager. In 2014, they became a Senior Commercial Manager at Informa before transitioning to the role of Head of Sales for KNect365 in 2017. Matt joined First Mile in 2017 as a Field Sales Manager, eventually becoming the Head of Field Sales and later the Head of SME Sales. In 2020, they worked as a Business Development professional at Bubble app. Currently, Matt is working at Octopus Energy, starting as a Regional Leader and currently holding the position of Sales Operations Lead, Low Carbon Technology.

Matt Williamson attended Colchester Royal Grammar School from 2006 to 2008, where they earned their A Levels. Matt achieved grades of A in History, B in French, and B in Physics. Following their graduation from high school, they pursued higher education at the University of Liverpool from 2008 to 2012. During their time there, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in French Language and Literature.
