Michael Moyo is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ocular AI, a data platform for multi-modal AI, launched in February 2024 with support from prominent investors including Y Combinator. Prior to this venture, Michael co-founded Ipahive, a fintech startup successfully exited to a Y Combinator-backed company, and worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft. Additionally, Michael founded and chaired The MentalLiberty Foundation, positively impacting over 100,000 youths in Southern Africa. Michael's earlier experience includes roles as a Software & Data Engineer at Microsoft, a Biomedical Engineer at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, and a tutor at the Zambian Institute For Sustainable Development. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Biomedical Engineering and Pre-Medicine from Dartmouth College, along with a high school diploma from David Kaunda National Technical High School.
