Alasdair Shiach

Alasdair Shiach is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Odfjell Drilling Ltd and Odfjell Technology since 2022, and at Welltec since 2017, Shiach previously held a similar role at Odfjell Drilling from 2018 to 2022. Prior to these positions, Shiach was with Baker Hughes for over 16 years, culminating in the role of Vice President & Managing Director, where oversight extended across multiple countries in Northern Europe and the Russian Caspian region. Other notable positions held at Baker Hughes included President - Russia Caspian Region and Vice President for Operations in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Shiach holds a BA in Business Studies from Robert Gordon’s Institute of Technology.
