In 2019, they were appointed as the Deputy Director for Legal Affairs ad interim at the OECD - OCDE, and in 2020, they became the Deputy Director for Legal Affairs.
Gita Kothari completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Law from the University of Cambridge in 2000. Gita then pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law and Legal Studies at New York University from 2001 to 2002.
