Benedict Dellot

Technology Policy Principal at Ofcom

Benedict Dellot's work experience includes roles in various organizations. Benedict started in 2009 as a Researcher at The RSA and later became a Senior Researcher and then an Associate Director - Economics. In 2018, they became the Head of the RSA Future Work Centre, where they established a new center to explore the impact of digital technologies on work. During their time at the RSA, they published several reports and worked closely with decision-makers and influencers. In 2019, they joined the Centre for Data Ethics & Innovation as the Head of AI Monitoring, overseeing efforts to monitor and investigate developments in AI and data-driven technology. Here, they led a team, implemented a strategy, and published research papers. In 2022, they joined Ofcom as a Technology Policy Principal.

Benedict Dellot attended Bishop Stopford School from 1998 to 2005. Benedict then went on to study Economics and Politics at The University of Manchester, where they received a BA (Hons) degree from 2005 to 2008.
