Shamir Biton

Shamir Biton has extensive experience in system administration, software development, and cloud computing, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, Shamir Biton serves as a Python/NodeJs Developer and DevOps Developer/System Architect at OffSec since January 2019. Prior to this role, Shamir held various positions at Orange from 2006 to 2023, primarily as a Unix Sys Admin, focusing on Unix/Linux system management and ISP management. Additional experience includes work as a Linux system manager/specialist at Ex Libris in 2014 and leadership in backup and storage projects at MindU. Shamir Biton holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Holon Institute of Technology and an engineering diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ORT School of Engineering. Skills encompass a wide range of programming and scripting languages, along with significant expertise in virtualization and performance troubleshooting.
