Adele Potter has extensive work experience in communications and engagement roles. Adele started their career as a Communications Officer at Ealing Homes in May 2005 and later became the Communications Manager. In April 2007, they joined Lewisham Homes as the Head of Communications and Community Involvement, where they worked until June 2012. Adele then worked as a Lead Communications Business Partner at The Hyde Group from June 2012 to June 2013. Adele then joined The Guinness Partnership as the Head of Communications in July 2013, where they worked until October 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Internal Communications and Engagement at the ORR - Office of Rail and Road, starting from October 2019.
Adele Potter has a Diploma in Public Relations from CIPR Qualifications, which was earned in 2010. In 2012, they also obtained an Advanced certificate in digital communications from the same institution. In 2015 and 2016, Adele attended Henley Business School and completed studies in Organizational Leadership. Prior to that, they attended the University of Otago from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) and Bachelor of Physical Education with a focus on Management.

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) is the independent safety and economic regulator for Britain's railways. We are also responsible for monitoring Highways England's management of the strategic road network.
