Richard Connor

Richard Connor has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. From 2007 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Library Assistant at SOAS, where they gained skills in customer service, supervision, and stakeholder engagement. Starting in 2014, Richard joined Defra as a Finance Graduate, participating in the government's Finance Graduate Development Scheme. There, they gained experience in strategic financial management and detailed financial accounting procedures. In 2016, Richard joined the ORR (Office of Rail and Road) as a Senior Financial Analyst and was later promoted to Principal Financial Analyst. Their role involves various responsibilities such as authoring UK rail financial publications, overseeing Network Rail's financial performance, and leading financial aspects of rail reform.

Richard Connor received a Bachelor's degree in Politics and Development Studies from SOAS University of London, which they completed between 2004 and 2007.
