Tess Tan has a strong background in legal and compliance roles, starting in 2020 as a Compliance Manager at OfficePartners360 and progressing to roles such as Associate Director for HR & Legal Affairs, Director for Legal & Compliance, Corporate Secretary, and currently as the Senior Director for Legal & Compliance. In addition to their work at OfficePartners360, they are also an Of Counsel at BAFT Law and has served as a Professor of Law at both the University of the Visayas - Cebu and the University of Southern Philippines. Prior to these roles, Tess worked at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. as a Financial Services Advisor and Team Manager.
Tess Tan has a diverse education history. In 2010, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Cebu Normal University, specializing in Registered Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, and Clinical Nursing. Later, from 2014 to 2018, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree with a minor in Litigation & Advocacy from the University of San Carlos. In 2021, Tess attended the Summer Course at The Hague Academy of International Law, focusing on Public International Law. Alongside their educational achievements, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Paralegal from the University of San Carlos in 2016 and becoming a Lawyer accredited by the Supreme Court of the Philippines in 2020. Additionally, Tess holds a Registered Nurse license obtained from the Professional Regulation Commission in 2010. Recently, in 2022, they acquired the Combined Lead Auditor certification in ISO 27001:2013 & ISO 22301:2019 from Exemplar Global, Inc. Furthermore, Tess received a certification in Basic Occupational Safety & Health from Synerquest Management Consultancy Services Inc. in 2021.
