Senior Simulation Engineer at Offshore Simulator Centre

César Sagrado Lorente has a diverse work experience in various industries. César started their career in 2018 at APM Terminals, where they gained experience in maritime operations as well as VAS/Warehouse roles. In 2019, they moved to OCA GLOBAL, where they worked as a Regulatory Inspector, conducting inspections on high-pressured vessels, fire fighting protection systems, and safety adequation reports for industrial machinery. In 2021, César had a summer internship at ULSTEIN, where they performed tasks related to data analysis on vessel performance, concept design of a zero emission exploration cruise vessel, and risk assessment on a propulsion system for an autonomous boat project. Currently, César is working at OSC AS as a Software Developer, specializing in virtual prototyping of complex marine offshore operations and digital twins development.

César Sagrado Lorente completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Naval systems and Technology at the Facultad de Náutica de Barcelona - UPC from 2013 to 2018. César then pursued a Master of Science in Naval Architecture at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2020 to 2022.
