Hossein Sarhadi

Software Developer at Offshore Simulator Centre

Hossein Sarhadi has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 as a Mechanical Engineering Executive at Fars Province Gas Company. From there, they worked as a Field Engineer at Barzin Construction & Erection where they were responsible for inspecting and installing precision instruments. In 2012, Sarhadi became the General Manager of Charman Leather, a startup they created in the leather industry. Hossein handled various tasks, including customer communication, supplier negotiation, and crisis management. In 2020, Sarhadi worked as an Apprentice at Ågerøya AS. Currently, they are employed as a Software Developer at OSC AS, where they are involved in developing simulations, virtual prototypes, and digital twins for complex operations in various industries.

Hossein Sarhadi completed their Master's degree in Product and System Design from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2019 to 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shiraz University from 2006 to 2011.

Offshore Simulator Centre simulators are using real physics and are therefore highly realistic. OSC is in a unique position of being able to use the same simulators for training and verification of complex, custom operations. They are using real physics and are therefore realistic.
