Gareth Clark

Gareth Clark is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in digital and information management. Currently serving as the Chief Digital and Information Officer at Ofgem since September 2023, Gareth previously held the position of Director of IT at Post Office Ltd from April 2020 to August 2023, where accountability included the design and operation of a new core branch IT system. Prior experience includes significant roles at the UK Ministry of Defence from October 2003 to April 2020, such as Head of Corporate IT and Telecommunications, Head of Infrastructure and Digital, and Director of Targeting and Mission Systems. Gareth's educational background includes a Major Projects Leadership degree from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Bristol.
