Roel van Poppel has extensive work experience in the food industry. Roel served as an Advisory Board Member at 1-2-Taste and as the CEO of AtSource at Olam. Roel also held various leadership roles at Olam Spices, including Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing. Prior to that, they worked at WILD Flavors International GmbH as the Global Sales Director and at Cargill Flavor Systems, where they held multiple positions, including EMEA Sales Director and Product Line Manager. Roel began their career at Cargill as a Commercial Management Trainee. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong expertise in sales, marketing, and customer operations.
Roel van Poppel completed their Gymnasium education at Juvenaat from 1986 to 1992. Roel then pursued Environmental Studies at Wageningen University & Research, obtaining a Master of Science degree from 1992 to 1998.
