Eric Leichter

Eric Leichter is an experienced professional in the field of R&D and product management, with a focus on fiber optics technology. As R&D Senior Manager at OFS from June 2018 to October 2023, Eric led a team developing advanced fiber optics solutions for various markets, including Data Center/Hyperscale and Fiber-to-the-home applications. Prior to this role, Eric served in multiple capacities at CommScope from November 2006 to May 2018, including Director of Business Development and Product Line Management, where responsibilities involved enhancing wireless network capabilities through fiber optic and RF technologies. Earlier career experience includes positions at Capital One Auto Finance and Corning Cable Systems, beginning in 1996, alongside a strong educational background with a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Finance from Gardner-Webb University.
