Basma Wehbe

Basma Wehbe is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in the MENA region, currently serving as Senior People Manager at Ogilvy since April 2024, where responsibilities encompass leading a multi-market team and shaping strategic HR policies. Previously, Basma held the role of Head of People & Talent at AlGooru, developing manpower planning initiatives and aligning workforce capabilities with company goals. Earlier experience includes founding the People Department at AlGooru as Talent Acquisition Lead and working as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Toothpick. Additionally, Basma contributed to the education sector as an Online Psychology Tutor and a Certified IB Diploma Programme Psychology Teacher. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the American University of Beirut and a French Baccalaureate in Economics and Social Studies.
