Alper Akarsu

Alper Akarsu, PhD, is an accomplished project manager and systems engineer with extensive experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and software development. Currently serving as Project Manager for MBSE at OHB SE since May 2022, Alper Akarsu defines and implements company-wide MBSE transformation processes while managing a diverse portfolio of MBSE projects. Previously, Alper Akarsu held the position of Project Manager at HAVELSAN from December 2013 to May 2022, overseeing software development for network-enabled capabilities and client engagement. Alper Akarsu began as a Systems Engineer at Vestel Savunma Sanayi, contributing to the Karayel Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle project. Alper Akarsu's academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi, an MSc in Wireless Communications from the University of Southampton, and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University.
