Anita Bayer

Anita Bayer is an experienced system engineer specializing in image processing and simulation at OHB SE since January 2022, focusing on the utilization of Earth Observation data for diverse applications. Prior to this role, Bayer worked as a researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology from February 2013 to December 2021, concentrating on dynamic global vegetation modeling, global scale data analysis, scientific programming, and project management related to carbon balances and ecosystem services under climate and land-use changes. From February 2009 to January 2013, Bayer completed a PhD in spectroscopy at the German Remote Sensing Data Center, engaging in hyperspectral remote sensing data processing and multivariate data analysis. Educational qualifications include a Dr. rer. nat. in Geowissenschaften from the University of Potsdam and a Diplom in Technische Geowissenschaften from the University of Stuttgart.
