Giuseppe Maio

Giuseppe Maio is an experienced satellite system engineer with a robust background in satellite control software and project management. Currently serving as a Satellite Instrument System Engineer and System Test Engineer at OHB System AG since October 2019, Giuseppe is involved in the functional testing of the MTG Satellite System, requirements analysis, and the development of software tools for test data. Previously, at Intelligentia Consultech GmbH, Giuseppe worked as a Satellite Control Software Engineer focusing on satellite sub-system testing, and at IDNAMIC, Giuseppe managed the R&D department and led multiple projects, including innovative wind measurement devices and online monitoring platforms. Giuseppe began his career at CGS (Carlo Gavazzi Space S.p.a.) where skills in software design and development for International Space Station systems were honed. Educational credentials include a degree in Ingegneria Informatica from Università degli Studi del Sannio-Benevento and a diploma from Istituto Tecnico per Geometri Galileo Galilei.
