Guillermo López Matos

Guillermo López Matos has extensive experience in aerospace engineering, currently serving as Team Leader AOCS & GNC Hardware and Testing at OHB SE since September 2017, where responsibilities include supporting hardware qualification and subsystem tests. Prior to this role, Guillermo worked as a Researcher in Flight Simulation at Cranfield University, focusing on implementing novel flight dynamics models using Simulink/Matlab and C/C++. Guillermo also held positions at Airelectronics from January 2013 to September 2016, initially as an Autonomous Systems Engineer, developing a gyro-stabilised payload and supporting autopilot development, and later as a UAV Autopilot Engineer, engaging in flight data analysis and ground control software development. Guillermo earned a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 2006 and 2013.
