Peter Alan Bell

Peter Alan Bell, DO, MBA, HPF, FACOEP-dist, FACEP, currently serves as Vice Provost and Dean of Medical Education at Baptist Health Science University since August 2021, and holds Emeritus Status at Ohio University since September 2020. With extensive experience in emergency medicine, Peter has been a partner at U.S. Acute Care Specialists/Emergency Medicine Physicians since March 1996 and previously held roles such as Dean and Professor at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Assistant Dean at Ohio University. Peter's leadership extends to various board positions within organizations such as the Ohio Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. Peter's educational background includes an MBA from Ohio University and medical degrees from University of New England and Hamilton College, complemented by fellowships in Deans Administrative Management and Health Policy.
