Lauren Rucker

Lauren Rucker has over a decade of experience in accounting and auditing, currently serving as Senior Accountant and Assistant Financial Controller at Oklahoma Christian University since December 2014. Previously, Lauren worked as a Senior Associate in Audit at Grant Thornton LLP from January 2011 to November 2014, managing engagements across various industries, including midstream oil and gas, non-profits, and governmental sectors, while gaining expertise in IPOs and SOX control testing. An earlier Audit Internship at Cole & Reed, P.C. involved extensive travel for governmental and university audits, and Lauren contributed to a research project with Opportunity Oklahoma aimed at improving GAAP for governmental reporting. Lauren began their career at Oklahoma Christian University as an Accounting Administrative Assistant and holds a B.A.A in Accounting from the same institution, graduating in 2010.
