David Wilson is conference superintendent for the Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference of the United Methodist Church. Wilson received his masters of divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa in 1994 and a bachelor of arts from Oklahoma City University in 1990. He received an honorary doctorate of humane letters from Bacone College in 2009. He is a member of the Choctaw Tribe of Oklahoma. Wilson is an adjunct faculty member for the Wimberly School of Religion at Oklahoma City University, and an adjunct professor at Saint Paul School of Theology at Oklahoma City University and at the Southern Methodist University’s Perkins School of Theology.
