Professor And Head Of The School Of Civil And Environmental Engineering at Oklahoma State University

Norbert Delatte is a seasoned academic and engineer, currently serving as Professor and Head of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Oklahoma State University since August 2016. Delatte has been actively involved with ABET as a Program Evaluator, Commissioner, and member of the Commission Executive Committee since August 2011. Prior experience includes positions at Cleveland State University, where Delatte progressed from Associate Professor to Department Head from December 2003 to August 2016, and roles at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the United States Military Academy at West Point. As a Fulbright Specialist in May and June 2014, Delatte contributed to engineering education at the International University of Grand-Bassam in Ivory Coast. Delatte holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science from The Citadel.
