Marisol Escobar has a diverse work experience in various industries. Marisol started their career as a Food Safety and Quality Intern at Master Martini Perú, where they collaborated in ensuring compliance with storage practices and maintaining quality records. Marisol then worked as a Summer Research Scholar at The University of Queensland, assisting with academic research projects and data analysis. Marisol then moved to Grupo Palmas, where they held several roles including Procurement Intern, Procurement Assistant, and Business Information Assistant, responsible for managing purchases, consolidating sales information, and tracking customer and product data. Marisol joined Olam as an Executive Management Trainee, gaining experience in different areas of the company, and later transitioned to the role of Sustainability Lead and Sales and Sustainability Lead.
Marisol Escobar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima in 2016. Marisol later attended the same institution and graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2017. In 2016, Marisol participated in an Incoming Exchange Program at The University of Queensland.
