Austin Shelton

Austin Shelton serves as the Director of Football Recruiting and Football Offensive Quality Control Coach at Old Dominion University since May 2018, where responsibilities include quarterback instruction, in-game analysis, and recruitment evaluation. Previous experience includes roles at Purdue University, where Shelton was a Football Graduate Assistant focused on recruiting and student-athlete development, and an internship at the University of Arizona aimed at mentoring student-athletes. Early career highlights include a Sport Marketing Internship at the University of Tennessee Athletics Department and various leadership positions during graduate studies, culminating in a Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Management from Purdue University. Shelton also holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
