Jennifer Mitchell, FPC has a diverse work experience spanning over many years, starting with their role as an Insurance Agent and Manager at Insurance Doctor from 2002 to 2010. Jennifer then transitioned to working as a Structure Project Coordinator at Advanced Restoration Services, Inc. in 2010-2011. In 2011, they joined Old Point National Bank, where they held various roles, including Commercial Services Associate, Commercial Services Analyst, Assistant Vice President, and, most recently, Vice President in the Commercial Services department. Throughout their career, Jennifer has demonstrated a strong work ethic and a range of skills in sales, coordination, management, and customer service.
Jennifer Mitchell, FPC attended Thomas Nelson Community College in 1996-1997 and 2013, earning an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management. Jennifer also obtained a Property & Casualty Insurance License from Cape Education and Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia in 2002-2010. Jennifer has further certifications such as Fundamental Payroll Certification from the American Payroll Association and PayrollOrg in 2016, as well as an Accredited Customer Service Representative certification from Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia in 2006.
