Scott Bergeron

Scott Bergeron is a seasoned maritime industry professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles. Currently serving as Managing Director at Oldendorff Carriers GmbH & Co. KG since 2019, Scott also holds the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer at Oldendorff America, Ltd. and previously contributed to BIMCO as a Board Member from June 2021 to October 2023. Prior to these roles, Scott was the Chief Executive Officer at the Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry from 2000 to 2019 and served as a principal at YCF Group LLC from 2012 to 2019. Scott’s background includes positions with the Virginia Port Authority, Laurin Maritime, the U.S. Coast Guard, and Det Norske Veritas, alongside degrees in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA from Purdue University.
