Gaurav Das is a Senior Development Engineer at OLI Systems, Inc. since June 2015, where responsibilities include leading projects in sustainability, battery recycling, decarbonization, and circular water economy, as well as collaborating with the Department of Energy on critical research initiatives. Gaurav developed an advanced inorganic scaling risk analysis platform and possesses in-depth knowledge of carbon capture technologies and sustainable metal recovery processes. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University from August 2009 to June 2015, focusing on molecular modeling and thermodynamic properties, and as an Associate System Engineer at IBM Global Process Services from July 2006 to July 2009. Gaurav holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s degree from Jadavpur University, along with additional training in data science and programming from the University of Michigan.
