Dave Thompson is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and platform development. Currently serving as Vice President of Platform Engineering at Olo since September 2023 and as an Advisor at Sheva since February 2024, Thompson previously held significant leadership roles including Vice President of Engineering at Blameless, Director of Engineering at Kong Inc., and Practice Director at Slalom. With a background that includes positions such as Chief Technology Officer at RightBrain Networks and Chief Systems Engineer at DeepField, Thompson has a proven track record in building and leading engineering teams, driving technical strategy, and managing critical infrastructure systems across diverse organizations. Educational qualifications include a BS degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, and Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University.
