Marco Dufresne, ing P Eng has a diverse work experience starting from 1997. Marco worked at Cadbury plc. as a Project and Maintenance Engineer from 1997 to 2001. After that, they joined Uniboard Canada as a Plant Engineer in 2001. In 2002, they moved to Cargill where they held various roles including Maintenance and Engineering Manager from 2002 to 2003, Plant Manager from 2003 to 2007, and Corporate Capital, Engineering and CI from 2007 to 2017. Since 2017, Marco has been working at Olymel as Vice President Engineering and Environment and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President Technical Services, Special Projects, and Sustainability from August 2023.

Marco Dufresne, ing P Eng, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Astrophysics from Université de Montréal from 1991 to 1993. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications including a Strategic Leadership and Management Specialization from Coursera Course Certificates in 2017, a Body Language for Leaders certification from Lynda.com in February 2016, a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification in 2014, a Change Management Specialist certification in 2014, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Beyond Lean in 2009.
